This 8'2 x 10' Antique Persian Kashan Rug is an outstanding example of classic Kashan craftsmanship, woven approximately 60 years ago and preserved in remarkable, near-new condition. Its balanced proportions, refined floral composition, and saturated color palette reflect the high standards that made Kashan one of Persia’s most respected weaving centers. Despite its age, the rug shows exceptional clarity, pile integrity, and crisp detailing throughout.
Design and Motifs
The design centers around an elegant multi-layered medallion set against a densely ornamented field. Delicate floral sprays, rosettes, palmettes, and curling vine work radiate outward in perfect symmetry. The motifs are finely articulated, creating depth without visual heaviness. Each element is carefully spaced, allowing the pattern to feel intricate yet harmonious.
Border and Framing
A richly decorated navy border frames the rug with repeating floral motifs and scrolling vines, supported by multiple guard borders that add rhythm and definition. The borders provide contrast and structure, anchoring the central field while enhancing the rug’s formal Kashan character.
Colors and Their Placement
A deep ruby red field dominates the composition, providing warmth and richness. Dark navy blue defines the medallion, borders, and key outlining details. We are pleased to offer free shipping and free returns in all 50 states within the USA, including Hawaii and Alaska. For our Canadian customers, we charge a flat fee of $50. All rugs are shipped the next business day after your order is placed.
Once your rug is shipped, we will email you the tracking number along with an estimated arrival time.

To facilitate a return, contact our Customer Service team via email at info@rugs.net with your order number to request a shipping label(s) for your item(s). Purchased from Rugs.net policy can be refunded within 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be returned in like kind packaging.
Before we send out your item we take pictures for future references.

After returned item, management will inspect your item. We will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item. In addition, we will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will surely be processed to your original payment method, within 2-5 business days. Returned Items most be in original or like-kind packaging.
Processing time: please give us up to five business days to process your return, and an additional 2-3 business to receive your money back. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We will issue a return shipping label, you just need to drop off the rug at UPS or FedEx. You also have the option to have the package picked up from your home.
