Design and Motifs
The field carries a classic all-over floral design built on a lattice of thin scrolling vines that meet in soft ogee curves. Along those vines sit three sizes of blossom: broad sunburst palmettes with 12 or more radiating petals, smaller shield-shaped lotus heads in red and gold, and scattered single rosettes and half-open tulips that fill the negative space without crowding it.
