This 8'5 x 11'3 Persian Sarough Rug represents one of the most prized weaving traditions of central Iran. Hand-knotted in Sarouk, a historic rug-weaving center, this rug showcases the region’s renowned craftsmanship with its dense floral design, meticulous knotting, and rich wool pile on a durable cotton foundation. Sarough rugs are celebrated for their longevity and luxurious appearance, and this piece embodies that heritage with its vibrant artistry.

Colors

The rug’s palette is dominated by a burnt coral–brick red field, which creates a vivid backdrop for the intricate floral sprays. The borders and motifs introduce a beautiful interplay of colors:

  • Dark navy blue outlines motifs and fills background sections in the border, adding depth.

  • Ivory and cream accents in the border provide striking contrast and illuminate the design.

Purchases from Rugs.net can be refunded within 31 days, free of charge, with no restocking fee. If 31 days have gone by since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, returned in like kind packaging.
