8x11 Persian Rugs
Every 8x11 Persian rug here is hand-knotted, one-of-a-kind, and shown in photographs of the exact piece you receive. The size itself tells you something about authenticity: 8x11 is not a factory cut. It is what comes off the loom when a rug is woven to traditional Persian proportions, the measurements master weavers have used for generations. Machine production rounds to 8x10; the loom does not.
For the buyer, that extra foot is a quiet luxury. It lets a dining table seat eight with every chair still on the rug when pulled out, and it fills the larger living rooms where a standard size floats. The weaving towns that favor these proportions are among our best: Persian Sarough rugs bring their famously dense, springy wool pile at this scale, while Moud rugs cover the field edge to edge in fine Herati tracery, often lit with silk highlights.
If you are torn between this and a standard 8x10, that is exactly the kind of question our rug experts enjoy: phone and chat, 24 hours a day. Free shipping and free returns in all 50 states and Canada mean the measuring tape on your own floor gets the final vote.
