This 4'3" x 5'11" antique Persian Tehran prayer rug is a rare collector piece, woven roughly a century ago around the turn of the 1900s. A flowering tree of life rises through an arched prayer niche on a soft ivory field, framed by a deep red inner panel and a golden floral border. Antique Tehran rugs are exceptionally hard to find, and a prayer example in this age and condition is a genuine collector's opportunity.
Design And Color
The ivory field is filled with a delicate tree of life, its branches covered in hundreds of small white blossoms rising from a footed vase, flanked by a pair of rose red cypress cones. The pointed prayer arch is set against a red spandrel with paired dragon and cloud motifs, and the whole design is bordered in gold and navy floral vine work. The palette of ivory, cream, gold, red, burgundy, and navy has softened beautifully with age.

As a true antique of about 100 years, this rug shows an even, gentle low pile that comes from a lifetime of careful use, with no distracting damage and a design that remains crisp and readable throughout. To facilitate a return, contact our Customer Service team via email at info@rugs.net with your order number to request a shipping label(s) for your item(s). Purchased from Rugs.net policy can be refunded within 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be returned in like kind packaging.
Before we send out your item we take pictures for future references.

After returned item, management will inspect your item. We will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item.
