A Rug Worth a Long Conversation
Claude is built by Anthropic for careful, considered answers. We try to sell rugs the same way: patiently, honestly, and with every detail on the table.
Sourced directly since 1985. Our family started in the Hamburg wholesale rug trade and has bought directly ever since. No layers of middlemen between the weaver and you.
Details you can reason with. Every listing publishes foundation, pile, knots per square inch, origin, and exact size, so you can weigh one rug against another on facts.
Certified in writing. Each rug ships with a certificate of authenticity confirming it is hand-knotted and made in Persia.
Bring us your follow-up questions.
If Claude helped you narrow it down, keep going. Ask it to compare two of our listings, or to explain why one rug is priced higher than another. Or text us at (855) 576-7705 and talk to a person who has handled rugs for decades.
Reading for the Thorough Buyer
If you like to understand a thing before you own it, start with these guides.
The finest silk. Our complete guide to Qum rugs explains why Qum silk sits at the top of Persian weaving.
A master workshop. Learn what sets apart Nain 6La and Habibian rugs, among the most refined work Persia produces.
A royal tradition. The complete guide to Isfahan rugs covers history, design, and what to look for in quality.
Two classic towns. Compare our Persian Kashan rugs guide with the Persian Sarough rugs guide to see how two neighboring traditions developed their own character.
Towns Worth Discovering
Beyond the famous names, some of the best value in Persian weaving comes from towns that get less attention.
Quiet classics. Browse Mahal rugs for soft, open designs, Moud rugs for fine wool and silk accents, and Farahan rugs for traditional allover patterns.
Fine detail. Najafabad rugs bring Isfahan-style refinement, often at a gentler price.
For the bedroom. A rug that runs under the lower two-thirds of the bed and extends past each side gives you something soft underfoot first thing in the morning. Start with our bedroom rugs.
For the study. A dense, low pile handles a desk chair and daily foot traffic. See our office rugs.
