This vintage hand-hooked Oriental rug wraps a calm, garden-inspired design in soft sage green. Delicate floral sprays are scattered across the open field and gathered into a graceful frame of scrolling vines, all set against a restful celadon ground and finished with a deep green wrapped edge. The thick, looped wool pile gives the rug a plush, cushioned hand that feels wonderful underfoot.
Design and Motifs
The layout is gently symmetrical and easy on the eye. Small lily-like blossoms in cream, peach, and rose open along curving stems, accented by slender teal and near-black leaves that give the florals depth and movement. These flowers gather into a soft oval garland around the center and repeat in the corners, while a continuous border of curling leaf scrolls and buds frames the whole field. A solid dark green band wraps the outer edge, giving the airy floral design a clean, finished outline.
Colors and Placement
A muted sage and celadon green palette makes this rug feel fresh and soothing, while the cream, peach, and rose flowers add just enough warmth to keep it inviting. The soft green ground is wonderfully versatile, working as a quiet backdrop that calms a busy room or adds a gentle wash of color to a neutral one. Origin and Construction
This rug was hand-hooked in India, a craft in which loops of wool yarn are pulled by hand through a sturdy base cloth to build a thick, plush surface. The pile is 100% wool on a cotton foundation, finished on the reverse with a bound cloth tape edge, as shown in the photos. As a vintage piece it carries light, age-appropriate wear consistent with its years, and it remains in good, displayable condition. We are pleased to offer free shipping and free returns in all 50 states within the USA, including Hawaii and Alaska. For our Canadian customers, we charge a flat fee of $50. All rugs are shipped the next business day after your order is placed.
Once your rug is shipped, we will email you the tracking number along with an estimated arrival time.

To facilitate a return, contact our Customer Service team via email at info@rugs.net with your order number to request a shipping label(s) for your item(s). Purchased from Rugs.net policy can be refunded within 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be returned in like kind packaging.
Before we send out your item we take pictures for future references.

After returned item, management will inspect your item. We will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item. In addition, we will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will surely be processed to your original payment method, within 2-5 business days. Returned Items most be in original or like-kind packaging.
Processing time: please give us up to five business days to process your return, and an additional 2-3 business to receive your money back. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
