This 9'6" x 12'5" Persian Najafabad rug brings a deep red field to life with a dense allover floral design gathered around a soft ivory and navy center medallion. Woven by hand in the Najafabad district near Isfahan, it carries the refined floral vocabulary that region is known for, scaled up for a large room.

Design And Color

The crimson ground is filled edge to edge with palmettes, rosettes, and curling leaf vines in sky blue, sage green, gold, and ivory. A midnight blue main border, flanked by ivory guard stripes, frames the field with the same flowing florals, and a small woven bird tucked into the border rewards a closer look. The palette reads warm and traditional while staying bright and clean.

Weave And Materials

Each knot is tied by hand in soft wool on a sturdy cotton foundation, at a knot density of roughly 180 to 200 per square inch. That construction gives the rug its detailed drawing along with the resilience to handle years of everyday use.
