See Every Detail Before You Buy
Buying a rug online comes down to two things: what you can see, and what you can verify. We built every listing around both.
Photographed closely. Our listings show the full rug, the border, the colors, and the weave up close, so you know what will arrive.
Specs that match the photos. Foundation, pile, knots per square inch, origin, and exact size are listed on every rug.
Backed in writing. We are direct importers, in the trade since 1985, and every rug comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Show Gemini the photos.
Gemini can look at images. Share one of our listing photos and ask what the design, colors, and weave say about the rug. Then hold the answer up against our spec table.
Know What You Are Looking At
A few guides that make any rug photo easier to read.
Weave density. See how knot count shows up in fine detail in KPSI, knots per square inch, explained.
Age and wear. Our guide on how to date an Oriental rug explains which signs to trust.
The underside. Turn a rug over and the back tells its own story. Read the foundation of a handmade rug.
A rich tradition. For deep reds and classic medallions, read our Persian Mashad rugs guide.
Shop by Shape and Size
Sometimes the room decides first. Start with the dimensions you have.
Standard rooms. Most rooms take a 7x10 rug, an 8x11 rug, or something larger like our 10x13 Kashan rugs.
Unusual shapes. Under a round table or in a foyer, try round Persian rugs or octagon rugs. For everything else, our rectangular rugs cover every common size.
Long halls. A narrow runner protects floors and leads the eye down a corridor. Browse hallway rugs.
